Refund Policy
Last Updated: November 1, 2024
At Code School Canada, we are committed to your success in software development. We stand behind our programs with transparent refund policies and our industry-leading job guarantee. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on our educational services.
1. Free Trial Period
All prospective students are encouraged to take advantage of our 7-day free trial before enrolling in a paid program. During this period, you can:
- Access our learning platform and auto-graded assignments
- Experience our curriculum and teaching methodology
- Interact with instructors and fellow students
- Evaluate whether our program is the right fit for you
No payment information is required for the free trial. You are under no obligation to continue after the trial period ends.
2. Enrollment Cancellation
Before Program Start Date
If you cancel your enrollment before the program start date, you are entitled to a full refund of all tuition paid, minus a $250 CAD administrative fee. To cancel, submit a written request to [email protected] at least 7 days before your program start date.
Within First 14 Days (Cooling-Off Period)
In accordance with Ontario consumer protection regulations, you may cancel your enrollment within 14 calendar days of signing the enrollment agreement, regardless of whether classes have begun. You will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, minus the administrative fee and a pro-rated charge for any classes attended.
3. Withdrawal After Program Start
If you withdraw from the program after the 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are calculated as follows:
| Program Completion | Refund Amount |
|---|---|
| 0-10% completed | 75% of tuition |
| 11-25% completed | 50% of tuition |
| 26-50% completed | 25% of tuition |
| Over 50% completed | No refund |
Program completion percentage is calculated based on calendar days elapsed since the program start date, not based on assignments completed.
